The Addams Family is both frightening and creepy, enigmatic and spooky, and altogether ooky. And now Wednesday Addams, the group’s probably most recognisable member, is the subject of a new Netflix series.

The Tim Burton-helmed series, which stars new scream queen Jenna Ortega, centers on troubled girl Addams as she navigates a strange new high school.

Wednesday Season 2 Plot

There isn’t an official plot for Wednesday Season 2 yet, but there are still a lot of unfinished business from Season 1 that could be resolved in upcoming episodes.

First, there is Wednesday’s stalker’s personality. A lot of people think it’s Xavier, but it may well be someone else.

Tyler might be a problem for Wednesday because the series concluded with him evolving into a Hyde. He might even try to assist Marylin Thornhill in making her comeback.

After Larissa Weems’ passing, Nevermore requires a new principal; could it be Gomez or Morticia? Additionally, it might require new students. Pugsley might even enrol at some point, who knows.

Even though a second season has not yet been confirmed, Wednesday’s showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar have several ideas for what to do next. According to Millar, who spoke to TV Line, they wanted to put more of an emphasis on characters like Morticia who had been rather underutilised in the show:

“We felt like we just touched the surface with those characters and the actors are so amazing in those roles. Catherine is, I think, an iconic Morticia. The relationship between Wednesday and Morticia is also essential to the show, and the idea that Wednesday is trying to forge her own path outside the family is important.”
